YES! I am soooo excited to report that the dogs now outnumber the people in the house. DOGS RULE! Having another puppy in the house is so cool. Cassius, an old man at age three, wears out quick, but this new puppy will romp and chew and wrestle with me all day long. Unfortunately Mom and Dad say, —No way, Jose!“ and lock one of us up after about only five rounds of chase around the couch. And, man, you should see how much this little dog can poop! Mom and Dad can‘t keep up with all the poop scoopin‘. Luckie doesn‘t eat much, so we don‘t know where it all comes from, but we are impressed anyway. I think having Luckie around makes Mom and Dad cranky. They keep yelling at me. I don‘t know why they are taking all this out on me. The new puppy jumps and chews on things and pees on the floor too, but no one seems to be yelling at her much. Parents!

It is that time of year again! Time to raise money for Southeastern Guide Dogs and their annual Walk-a-thon. The school is totally dependent on donations to provide guide dogs free of charge to the blind. It costs an average of $27,000 to raise, train and graduate a guide dog team. We hope you will take this opportunity to share this goal with us.

• $20 buys puppy toys and towels for the whelping room
• $30 vaccinates a puppy
• $40 feeds a dog for a month
• $75 pays for spay/neutering and x-rays for dogs in for training
• $200 buys a guide harness and leash
• $250 helps pay the medical costs of a guide dog
• $600 sponsors a blind student for the 26 day training period
• $1750 sponsors/names a puppy
