Dr. Brad Williams has been providing Sedation Dentistry for over 30 years and Dr. Sivie for over 10 years. Dr. Williams is trained in both Oral and IV Conscious Sedation. His training goes far beyond the average "sedation dentist" as Dr. Williams holds Fellowship status with the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. He is also certified in IV Sedation and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Most sedation dentists are only certified in oral conscious sedation and Basic Life Support.

Q: How relaxed will I be?
A: You'll receive just the amount you need to feel relaxed and unaware of the dental procedures, as if you were asleep. Most people have little or no memory of the dental visit.
Q: Will I feel groggy after my dental visit?
A: The length of your sedation depends on the length of your dental visit and the medications chosen especially for you. You are required to have someone drive you home for your own safety. Most people feel slightly groggy or sleepy for a few hours after their dental visit is complete.
Q: Is Sedation Dentistry Safe?
A: Both Dr. Sivie and Dr. Williams are certified by the State of Texas in Oral Conscious Sedation and Inhalation Sedation Dentistry. Dr. Williams is also Certified in IV Conscious Sedation and is a member with Fellowship Status in DOCS, the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation and is a member of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. We will review your medical history and consult with your physician if you have any medical conditions that warrant a medical consult. Throughout your sedation visit, your vital signs will be constantly monitored and recorded. Our entire team is certified in Basic CPR and Dr. Williams is certified in ACLS, Advanced Cardiac Life Support. We regularly perfect our responses to both medical and dental emergencies.
Q: Will my insurance cover Sedation?
A: We will check to see if your insurance plan provides coverage for sedation. Financial arrangements and dental financing can be provided for portions that are not covered.

During Your Visit
Before scheduling any treatment, we will review your medical history and explain how Sedation Dentistry can work for you. Dr. Williams and Dr. Sivie want you to feel good about going forward towards a healthy, new smile. On the day of your appointment, a companion will take you to our office, we'll give you some medicine to take-usually a pill or liquid. We will make certain that you're relaxed and completely comfortable and monitor you very closely while you're sedated. Many patients feel NO DISCOMFORT whatsoever during and after treatment, and have little or no memory of the visit.
